1. Obtaining Necessary Access:

  • Action: Request Access to necessary tools like Google Search Console and any third-party SEO tools the client uses.
  • Deliverable: Obtained access and initial information.
  • Responsible for: PM


2. Analysing technical SEO:

Actions: 

  • Conduct a Technical SEO Analysis, checking for issues with meta tags, header tags, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, and site speed.
  • Check Website Indexing to ensure all relevant pages are indexed by search engines.
  • Analyze the URL Structure to verify that URLs are SEO-friendly and properly structured.
  • Examine Schema Markup and structured data to ensure proper integration for rich snippets and SERP enhancements.
  • Review the Internal Linking Strategy, checking for broken links, orphaned pages, and poor anchor text.
  • Evaluate Website Speed and Performance using tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, ensuring fast load times and mobile optimization.
  • Deliverable: Table with the list of tech issues that should be fixed 
  • Responsible for: SEO specialist


3. Analysing On-Page SEO:

  • Action: Audit On-Page SEO, reviewing keyword usage, title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and alt text.
  • Deliverable: Table with the list of on-page issues that should be fixed 
  • Responsible for: SEO specialist

4. Analysing Website Content:

  • Action: Analyze Content for Relevance, checking for duplicate content, keyword cannibalization, and content gaps.
  • Deliverable: List of content issues that should be fixed. 
  • Responsible for: SEO specialist


5. Analysing Off-Page SEO:

  • Action: Conduct Off-Page SEO Analysis, focusing on backlinks, domain authority, and referral traffic.
  • Deliverable: List of detected external links.
  • Responsible for: SEO specialist

6. Analysing Competitors:

  • Action: Review Competitor SEO Performance, identifying keyword gaps and backlink opportunities.
  • Deliverable: Table with the detailed competitor’s performance. 
  • Responsible for: SEO specialist


7. Analysing UI/UX:

Actions: 

  • Check Mobile-Friendliness by reviewing how the site performs on different mobile devices.
  • Analyze UX by reviewing bounce rates, page depth, and user navigation paths.
  • Deliverable: List of bugs that should be fixed. 
  • Responsible for: SEO specialist

8. Checking the Site Security:

  • Action: Check Site Security, making sure HTTPS is used, and that SSL certificates are properly configured.
  • Deliverable: List of issues that should be fixed. 
  • Responsible for: SEO specialist


9. Auditing Local SEO:

  • Action: Audit Local SEO Factors, such as Google My Business.
  • Deliverable: List of issues that should be fixed. 
  • Responsible for: SEO specialist

10. Checking Social Signals:

  • Action: Review Social Signals to see how the website is shared on social media and its impact on traffic.
  • Deliverable: List of issues that should be fixed. 
  • Responsible for: SEO specialist

11. Reporting:

Actions: 

  • Create a Comprehensive Audit Report, documenting findings and recommendations for each section.
  • Provide Actionable SEO Recommendations, including prioritized tasks for the client to implement.
  • Deliverable: Doc with audit results + presentation, if needed. 
  • Responsible for: SEO specialist

12. Delivering:

  • Action: Deliver the Report to the client in a Google Doc or PDF format for review and feedback.
  • Deliverable: Email with SEO audit report.
